KIDS’ PARTIES ON THE BEACH – FAQs
::

How do the kids’ parties run?

Our Kids’ or Teen Party packages have the following programme: After the Meet and Greet by our animator, guests can leave presents and personal items on the table provided for this purpose. Secure lockers are available in the changing rooms for valuable items, children can also get changed here for the subsequent sports and games. According to your booking, the animator with then lead either a beach sports tournament or a beach games programme with a subsequent prize-giving ceremony (duration approx. 2 hours). Guests will then find the table set and the party buffet prepared. You are welcome to continue celebrating in our Beach Bar after eating - please note, however, than on Sundays we clear away the buffet at 5:30pm and close at 6pm.

Are there alternatives to the package deals?

If you do not wish to choose one of our package deals, you can also just reserve a table in our Beach Bar and order from the menu, as well as reserving a court for beach sports if required. Please note that in this case you are entirely reponsible for ensuring the safety of your children and the observation of the playing rules, and for making sure that other guests and sports players are not impeded. You can also book an animator to support you (€50/hour).

What days can we have a party?

The Kids’ Party for 6-to-12-year-olds can be booked on Sundays; teens (13-16) can celebrate on Saturdays. We recommend this separation to make sure that, in the case of multiple bookings, there is no friction between teens and younger children. Weekdays are not suitable for kids’ parties, as we open at 5pm. For large groups, a special weekday booking may also be possible - please talk to us.

Is there a minimum/maximum number of guests?

Our Kids’ Party offer is available for groups of 10 or more kids or teens. For large groups (20 or more guests), a second court and an extra animator will be booked automatically.

Who prepares the buffet?

Good nutrition is important to us - but our food is also fun for kids! Our Kids’ Buffet offers fresh salads, snacks, warm dishes, and seasonal fruit and sweet treats. Some of our classics:

fresh carrot salad with apples and pears, finely seasoned with lemon juice; crisp “radish UFOs”; triangular sandwiches with cream cheese, cucumber and bananas; “fire brigade spaghetti” with tomato sauce; “rainbow puree” (homemade mashed potatoes with peas, carrots and tomato ); tender homemade, breaded chicken breast “blubberfish nuggets”; chocolate-fruit hedgehog; blue “shark tank jelly” with rubber animals ...

We think about the children's ages when designing the buffet, not just when decorating the room.

Can accompanying adults help themselves to the buffet?

The amount and style of the buffet food is put together with children in mind, we would request pre-booking for adults who wish to eat at a price per head of €12. Alternatively you are always welcome to order food and drinks from our menu of the day or standard menu.

Are drinks included in the package?

In principle, yes: Each guest receives a soft drink (0.5l water or fruit juice) to take to the court. During the buffet after the games, children can drink as much mineral water and fruit juice as they like. Other soft drinks, alcohol-free cocktails and hot drinks (fruit and herbal teas, hot chocolate) can be ordered, but must be paid for separately.

Can I bring a cake or other dishes/sweets?

Yes you can, but please be aware that with cakes and other sweet dishes, there is a charge of €2.50 per guest.
Alternatively you can also order a home-made chocolate cake from us for your buffet (minimum €30).
It is not allowed to bring any other kind of food to our restaurant.

Exception: For sports in the beach hall, beverages may be taken in PET bottles.

Can I decorate the table myself?

Depending on the age of the children, the Kids’ Party offer includes a brightly-decorated “party table” with shells, flowers, candles, balloons... Though if you feel the need, feel free to get creative! Please note that a charge per head may be applicable on sweet dishes brought from home (see above). In case of doubt, for example with very elaborate decorations, please talk to us.

How much time should I allow for the party?

So that guests have time to relax and eat after the beach sports or games programme (approx. 2 hours), you should plan for at least three hours.

Is there a time limit for the Kids’ or Teen Parties?

We are happy for you to stay at your table chatting and/or playing after the end of the “official” programme (sports and games as well as buffet) (see “Procedure”). Please note our opening hours: On Sundays we close at 6pm and must therefore clear away the buffet at 5:30pm.
